Yedikule Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Education and Research Hospital started to serve in Istanbul in 59 years ago in the shadow of pine trees in Istanbul in 1905. In 1970, he became a special branch training hospital and began to train his chest diseases assistant. With the opening of the chest surgeon clinic at the beginning of the 1980s, the Chest Surgery Center was added to its name and it became a center to serve lung patients.

Our hospital, which trained as an assistant in both Chest Diseases and Chest Surgery, has gradually improved and renewed itself. On the one hand, it does not know boundaries in service, on the other hand it produces 10-12% of publications in its field with scientific studies. Yedikule is a center where Interventional Bronchoscopy-EBUS courses are held jointly with the European Respiratory Society (ERS) of the Turkish Thoracic Society for the last 4 years.
Since starting training, more than 300 specialist doctors have actively participated in the management of many organizations, mainly Turkish Thoracic Society and Turkish Respiratory Research Association.
Yedikule continues to provide quality service to our new 211-bed hospital built in private hospital comfort, which will continue to develop with thoracic oncology unit and animal laboratory.
